GSK Stockmann provided comprehensive legal advice to the Arsipa Group on its acquisition of sigeko – Ingenieure. With this strategic move, the Arsipa Group is further expanding its presence in the occupational health and safety sector in the Hamburg metropolitan region, as well as in Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony.
Going forward, the Hamburg-based sigeko – Ingenieure, a long-established engineering office providing health and safety coordination for construction sites, will be run as an independent platform company within the Arsipa Group. The company will become the second pure health and safety coordination provider in the network and allow Arsipa to access the construction site safety market in northern Germany.
The acquisition also serves as a strategic succession solution for the company. Current managing director Andreas Aug, who has managed the company since 2000, will remain with the company for a defined transition phase. The office structure and Hamburg location will remain unchanged. sigeko – Ingenieure will continue to offer its services under its own brand, while also benefiting from support from the Arsipa Group in key areas such as human resources, finance, IT and process management.
