The latest Equity Partner appointments strengthen GSK Stockmann’s traditional core areas of real estate and corporate law, as well as its banking and finance division. New partners Rebecca Comtesse (Frankfurt) and Corinna Schumacher (Luxembourg) bring valuable expertise in finance/restructuring and funds, particularly in international contexts. York-Alexander von Massenbach, head of the firm’s London office, has also been appointed as an Equity Partner, signalling the firm’s continued commitment to growing its international business. Real estate expert Felix Bergfort has played a key role in driving the firm’s business development with his knowledge of the latest legal tech solutions.

The appointment of Philipp Dawirs as Local Partner provides a further boost to GSK Stockmann’s Real Estate team. Dominik Stolz, a member of the Banking & Finance team, supports the firm’s sustainability-related compliance practice with his expertise in ESG. The promotion of Silvia Christopher, a specialist in corporate and real estate law and the associated commercial and M&A issues, to Local Partner is not only a valuable addition to the GSK Stockmann’s Corporate division, but will also support the further development of the firm’s notarial offices.

In order to keep pace with the increasing complexity of the law and the growing expectations of clients seeking experienced advisers, GSK Stockmann is expanding its team of experienced legal experts with eight new Counsel. The promotions within the public law team in particular reflect the growing interest in infrastructure projects.

New Counsel Maximiliane Bartsch (real estate transactions and asset management, in particular residential), Lisa Gebhard (investment funds, ESG and real estate), Alisa Mößinger (commercial tenancy law, all asset classes) and Jasmin Lena Seiberlich (real estate transactions and commercial tenancy law) will continue to support GSK Stockmann’s Real Estate team. Public law specialists Timo Aust (public law, construction law, pollution control and environmental law), Mareike Hebrock (public construction, environmental and nature conservation law) and Andrea Kunstmann (private construction contract law and architectural and engineering law) are also being promoted. The firm’s growing Corporate division will also see the addition of new Counsel Katharina Becker (dispute resolution and international arbitration).

“We are proud to be promoting a large number of colleagues from within our own ranks once again this year and look forward to continuing to support them in the next stage of their careers. We are particularly pleased that these appointments will allow us to continue growing sustainably and organically in strategically important business segments for the firm,” comments Dr Oliver Glück, Co-Managing Partner at GSK Stockmann.

Co-Managing Partner Dr Justus Jansen adds: “The appointment of new Equity Partners in Luxembourg and London is a testament to the success of our international strategy and the collaborative working relationships between the various teams across the firm. This puts GSK Stockmann in a very strong position to support our clients both in Germany and on the international stage.”
