Corporate law firm GSK Stockmann advised DZ HYP on its financing of the acquisition of the IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof by Invesco Real Estate. The seller is CA Immo.
The IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof, which was completed in 2013, is the first hotel in Germany to be awarded the German Sustainable Building Council’s platinum certificate. Located next to the city’s main railway station, the building offers 23,400 square metres of space, including 412 rooms, ten conference rooms and 374 square metres of retail and office space on the ground floor. The hotel is fully let to IntercityHotel GmbH, a subsidiary of Steigenberger Hotels GmbH.
A team led by Munich partner Alma Franke advised on the financing of the acquisition of the Berlin hotel property.
