GSK Stockmann advises Competo and W2 Development on letting an office campus in Stuttgart

GSK Stockmann advised a joint venture between Competo Capital Partners GmbH and W2 Development GmbH on letting 14,500 square metres of space on the W2 Campus in Stuttgart-Möhringen. The tenant is Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG.

This new letting means that the third building on the W2 Campus within the office campus developed by Competo Capital Partners and W2 Development is now also let. The campus has a total gross floor area of 60,000 square metres and is located at the junction of Am Wallgraben/ Schockenriedstrasse in the “Synergiepark” business park in Stuttgart’s Möhringen district.

The public transport operator Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen (SSB) has signed a long-term lease agreement for Building 3 and intends to relocate its head office there at the end of 2025. The building is to be LEED Platinum certified, will meet the energy standard “Effizienzhaus 40” and will operate without the use of fossil fuels. Buildings 1 and 2 were already sold to Deutscher Sparkassenverlag at the end of 2022.

A GSK Stockmann team led by Munich partner Dirk Brückner advised Competo Capital Partners and W2 Development not only on the joint venture and the overall project, but also provided comprehensive advice to the joint venture company on the letting.
