This year, GSK Stockmann took part in the Christmas tree appeal organised by the children’s charity “Die Arche – Christliches Kinder- und Jugendwerk” for the very first time. Many children in our society grow up in difficult conditions and do not have the same opportunities to fulfil their potential as others. Since its founding in 1995, the charity “Die Arche” has been committed to helping these children.
Staff at our German offices brought joy to children at Die Arche this Christmas by donating gifts from their wish lists. In Munich, Berlin and Frankfurt, our staff were even able to hand over the gifts in person, giving them an insight into Die Arche’s work and a chance to meet some of the children benefiting from the charity’s appeal.
To further support Die Arche in its important work, GSK Stockmann is also making its annual Christmas donation to the organisation. We are delighted to be part of this wonderful campaign!
Staff at our London office are taking part in the “Riverside Softplay” campaign organised by the Riverside Parents and Carers Association, including helping to decorate Father Christmas’s grotto. Members of the team will be taking on the roles of Father Christmas and his elves to hand out presents and entertain the children as part of a programme of activities.
