GSK Stockmann at the AIJA seminar in Berlin

GSK Stockmann is sponsoring the AIJA seminar “Venture Visionaries – Angels, Demons and Other Relatives”, which will take place in Berlin from 19 to 21 March 2026.

Hosted by the Corporate and M&A and the International Private Clients and Family Law commissions, the seminar will explore various aspects of venture capital transactions. A key area of focus will be on the challenges and interactions with family office governance, wealth preservation models, estate planning and alternative investments. A series of panels and discussions will provide valuable insights into managing, protecting and growing family wealth through venture investments, while also addressing the unique legal and governance issues involved.

Alongside the academic programme, attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrancy city of Berlin – a place where history and creativity collide. As one of Europe’s leading venture capital hubs, Berlin boasts a thriving start-up ecosystem supported by a strong network of investors.

GSK Stockmann will be represented by a strong team of lawyers at the AIJA seminar. Clara López Hernando (Senior Associate at GSK Stockmann in Berlin) is on the organising committee and Etienne Weryha (Senior Associate at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg) is a speaker on the panel “The Unique (Due Diligence) Challenges in Investing in a Family-Owned Startup”. Valerio Scollo (Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg) will also be in attendance.

AIJA (Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats, or International Association of Young Lawyers) is the only global association devoted to lawyers and in-house counsel aged 45 and under. Since 1962, AIJA has been providing outstanding international opportunities for young lawyers to network, learn and develop.
