Disputes in an Age of Uncertainty – Managing the Energy Transition

This year, the hot topic of the autumn conference is “Disputes in an Age of Uncertainty – Managing the Energy Transition”. The conference will examine the many issues associated with the inherent uncertainty faced by energy companies due to a combination of energy transition, the war in Ukraine and the pandemic. These questions are particularly relevant for Germany which so far wanted to rely on Russian gas to soften the transition to renewable energies.

Beginning this year, the DIS Autumn Conference will be the cornerstone of the new Berlin Dispute Resolution Days. In addition to the 6th Karl-Heinz Böckstiegel Lecture and the DIS40 Autumn Conference, further events will take place in Berlin.
